Here is a collection of my songs, many in progress, crafted with care and designed to tell a story or merely entertain.
I wrote the lyrics and music to these songs and ran most of them through SUNO, an artificial intelligence program, to get a sense of how they would sound in a variety of arrangements. That process allowed me to tweak the lyrics and consider the proper form of the song. The audio files are represented below.
A few words about SUNO AI: I use SUNO and other AI tools, most importantly, as a method of learning and gaining insight to the process of making music. However, I’m finding that a lot of what SUNO, and other tools, produce just don’t have the vibe that I, and other critical listeners, seek. The final product for my tunes will be played by myself and other musicians. In other words, 100% human.
Since SUNO’s arrangements are not human-produced, I won’t publicly publish them. I use AI programs merely as tools.
Contact me to give some earnest feedback since songs are still being added, tweaked, and arranged so any ideas will be helpful.
Special thanks to Wes Lunsford from Nashville, who is a music producer and excellent musician as well as a member of the Young Fables. Wes has been very helpful to get me this far in the process. Also, thanks to Todd Chuba, great guy and excellent pro drummer.
The process includes creating a demo, sending it out to someone like Wes for refinement, taking the stems from that “better” demo and dropping them into Logic Pro X and recording my parts, usually bass, vocals, keys, etc. I will have some other musician friends contribute also.

Everything Is On The Line came to me when I was thinking about how someone would react to revolution in today’s world. It’s a good start, but unfinished. Welcome to My Daydream a sleepy tune that isn’t finished and a lot of work to make sense of the concept.
Just One Dance came to me quickly but needs some attention to flush it out.
Finished Demos:
Lose The City is a finished demo and 100% human produced as of 4/11/26. I’m using the stems from Wes’ work and have dropped in my own instruments, bass, keys, backup vocals, etc. Drums are added on May 10, 2026 from Francesca in Italy. There’s work left but this suggests the idea of the process. I’m still experimenting with the blend of instrumentation and how they play with the idea and mood of the song and the lyrics.
Glide Through The Night was an early song that Wes and I collaborated on a while back. We collaborated from my own demo and music. I had a video made from this tune which can be seen in the Music Videos section of this website.
I Think I’m In The Band is another early song that was recorded by Wes Lunsford after I sent him the music and my own demo. I had a video made from this tune which can be seen in the Music Videos section of this website.
My Baby Don’t Talk Like That is 50% human. It’s a fun blues tune I had been thinking about for a long time and finally put it together. The singer is so proud of his girl that he has to brag compare her with every other girl in town. “She don’t wear no shoes, but she’s the best-dressed girl in town.” Love the irony. Todd Chuba is on drums and I’m playing bass on this version which is set up as a four-piece band. SUNO prompt: steady beat, smooth swaying rhythm, bluesy, upbeat, 115 bpm, driving rhythm, bragging voice.
Nearly Finished Demos:
The singer of I’m Thinning It Out is reflecting on losing his partner and deciding to take the simple route to life and relationships. Kind of cleaning house in his/her mind. SUNO prompt: simple west Texas swing with a jazzy feel, stylish
Glide Through The Night is one of the first songs I wrote. This was originally recorded by Nashville’s Wes Lunsford, based on my music and demo. Wes did a great job on this one. In this example, I had SUNO do a reggae cover of my original just for fun. It didn’t turn out too bad but this version is not a keeper. SUNO prompt: reggae, swamp rock

You’re Not Getting Your Records Back is another simple kinda novelty song about a couple breaking up and the singer is determined to keep his partner’s record collection. Second Cup of Coffee was inspired by a K.D. Lang song. Here it’s westernized with a Dolly Parton vibe. This didn’t take long to put together, but is currently unfinished. Needs a chorus and possible bridge to have it make sense. SUNO prompt: Western swing, rolling bass, upbeat
I had a lot of fun with Talk Of The Town. I was thinking about a gentleman who sees a mysterious lady and dreams of being her partner. SUNO prompt: bluesrock
When I Look at You is a love song about a man sharing the sensation inside of hm when he sees his love. It is inspired by the Dusty Springfield song, “When You Walk In The Room”. I especially like the Chris Hillman version. I wanted to hear the song in a sort of country style. SUNO prompt: walking bass, swamp rock.
The Bees Call You Honey is about a worker bee who dreams of connecting with his queen bee. They fly off together making all the other worker bees jealous. SUNO prompt: bluesrock
Tired Of Being Tired was on my mind when I thought about people just being worn out and wanting to stop. Maybe it’s about someone answering the question, “How you doin’, man?” Of course it is a blues song. SUNO prompt: blues, electric, bluesy, raw with a steady groove and soulful male vocals

Ballad Of The Band is about a fictious band that gets nowhere in LA playing the same old gigs, and their manager, Tim, who tells them they need to go on the road. They realize the South isn’t that interested in their music. I was shocked and delighted to hear this arrangemet. Very cool version. SUNO prompt: double time
I Need A Job is about the singer’s seeking and finding a job to support his relationship only to realize it reduces the time with his partner. SUNO prompt: enjoy, beach house
